A 100% volunteer-run nonprofit organization, the Cancer Coping Center constitutes a group of professionals who volunteer their time and expertise in order to relieve the suffering of those afflicted with cancer by providing coping strategies for cancer patients, their family members and caregivers. It is all about taking action and not thinking that someone else will take care of the matter. We live socially responsible lives and can look back and be proud of helping others during difficult times. The Mission To enhance and improve the quality of life for cancer patients, family members and caregivers through creativity. We are a registered nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Facilitating Creativity For Quality of LifeTM News Flash Asian Heritage Society in San Diego Recognizes Cancer Coping Center's David Wu on August 20, 2011. The Asian Heritage Society of San Diego recognized David Wu for his volunteer work for the Cancer Coping Center. He received the 2011 Asian Heritage Award for Community Service. Each year the Asian Heritage Society polls the community to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of individuals and organizations connecting and giving back to the community. Cancer Coping Center hosted its annual clothing SWAP fundraiser on September 17, 2011. Please take a look at the events page of this website for pictures from this event.
