Camp Kesem UCSD
Is a free summer camp for San Diego children ages 6-13
whose parent has, has had, or has passed away from cancer. The Camp Kesem UCSD mission
is to provide a magical summer camp for these children, where they can increase self-esteem
and build supportive friendships with peers facing similar challenges. Camp Kesem UCSD is a nonprofit project of Camp Kesem National
run by students at UCSD.
Chef Yves Fournier
Born, raised and trained in France, Yves (Pronounced Eve) Fournier
has spent the last twenty years perfecting his skills in Pastry
Arts. Chef Yves has worked at several of the world's most prominent
hotels including Le Meridien, The Ritz Carlton, The Fairmont Hotel,
and the Hyatt Regency. His positions included Pastry Chef and Executive
Pastry Chef. In addition to his early training in pastry, Yves also
has extensive training in candy making having traveled to Belgium,
numerous locations in France, and the United States. His creations
are astonishing and he has a gift for creating mouth watering desserts!

Kat Fulton, MM, MT-BC
"Kat Fulton is a speaker and board-certified music therapist with specialized training in NICU
(Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) music therapy and rhythm-based wellness. In collaboration with the Cancer
Coping Center, Kat provides music therapy to cancer patients, their families and medical caregivers.
Kat is Director of Sound Health, and agency that provides music therapy and wellness services to the
greater San Diego County community. The Sound Health mission is to utilize music in the most effective
way to bring about positive change among individuals in a team-building setting and a variety of
healthcare settings. Highly qualified and trained board-certified music therapists use research-based
methods to achieve physiological, cognitive, emotional, spiritual, and social goals. For more

San Diego County Cancer Navigator
Provides assistance in navigating the cancer care system with hundreds of local and
national resources, direct links to clinical trials, and a Community Calendar for on-going events.
The San Diego County Cancer Navigator provides a toll free HelpLine in English and Spanish and is
available Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
